About the circuit
Oulton Park is in Cheshire, set in rolling parkland, with hills, blind crests and very little run-off. It has been a regular home of the British Touring Car Championship.
Driving a lap
Oulton Park is 4.31 km (2.68 miles) a lap in Apex Drawn, with 11 corners: 8 rights and 3 lefts. That makes it a lap heavier on the right-handers - one side of your tyres does most of the work.
Turn 1 is a medium-speed right-hander.
The tightest corner is Turn 5, a right-hand slow corner: brake in a straight line before it, and get the car turned early so you can be back on the throttle as soon as possible.
One corner is fast enough to take with little or no braking (Turn 3): commit to them and they are where a lap time is found.
The longest straight runs from Turn 2 to Turn 3, so the exit of Turn 2 matters more than its entry: a good exit carries all the way down it.
It is a hilly lap, with crests and dips that change where you can brake and how much grip the car has over the top of a rise.

Coming soon
Oulton Park is in the Grand Prix Circuits pack, which isn't on sale yet. You can see it in Play → Real circuits in the game, and race the free circuits there today.
Each car keeps its own best lap on every circuit, so Oulton Park has a separate leaderboard for the GT, the Formula car, the kart and the hatchback. Start in the GT, which forgives a mistake; the Formula car is quicker everywhere but punishes a missed apex.
Signed in, you can also export it as a track for BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, with its hills, kerbs and barriers.
