A free browser racing game and track maker
Apex Drawn is a free online racing game where you draw your own racetrack and race it. Sketch a circuit on the board and it becomes a 3D track in seconds — hills, kerbs, barriers and a start line — ready to drive in a GT car, a Formula single-seater, a kart or a hatchback. It runs in the browser on desktop and phone with nothing to download.
Track designer
Draw any shape: a hairpin, a long straight, a flowing esses section. Set the track width, how hilly the land is and how smooth the corners are, and bank each corner on its own. Sign in to save your favourite circuits and load them on any device.
Time trials and lap times
Every circuit keeps its own leaderboard of fastest laps, with sector times and a best-lap ghost of your own pace. Two people who draw the same layout race for the same record.
Multiplayer racing with friends
Host a party, share a four-letter code, and up to eight players race together on your circuit with live positions, name tags and a running order. Join a race that is already under way, or swap cars in the garage without leaving the track.
Export to BeamNG and Assetto Corsa
Take any circuit you draw - or a real one from the circuit library - into BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa. Press Export on the board, pick the game, and it downloads as a track with its hills, kerbs, barriers and scenery, ready to drop into the game. Your first 4 exports are free, for either game, and an Export Pass adds more. Exporting needs a free account and a laptop or PC.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Apex Drawn free?
- Yes. Apex Drawn is a completely free racing game that runs in your web browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account is needed to draw a track and race it.
- How do I make my own racetrack?
- Draw a closed loop on the board with your mouse or finger. The moment you close the loop it becomes a 3D circuit with elevation, kerbs and barriers, and you can drive it straight away. Sliders set the track width, hills and smoothness, and you can bank individual corners.
- Can I play with friends online?
- Yes. Host a party and share the four-letter code. Everyone who joins races on the circuit you drew, sees each other live on track, and appears on a live leaderboard. Up to eight players share a party.
- Can I use a controller?
- Yes. Plug in or pair an Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo controller — on a computer or on a phone — and it plays the whole game. Driving: right trigger to accelerate, left trigger to brake, right stick to steer, Start to pause. Menus: the d-pad moves between the buttons, A presses one and B goes back. On the drawing board, hold the right trigger and move the left stick to draw your circuit. The steering and the pedals are analogue, so half a stick is half the lock, and the on-screen buttons step aside while a controller is connected.
- Does it work on my phone?
- Yes. Apex Drawn works on Android and iPhone in the browser, with on-screen controls, and can be added to the home screen to play fullscreen. Hold the phone sideways.
- Can I drive my track in Assetto Corsa or BeamNG?
- Yes. Press Export on the drawing board, pick BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, and your circuit downloads as a track for that game, with its hills, kerbs, barriers and scenery. Your first 4 exports are free, for either game; an Export Pass adds more. Exporting needs a free account and a laptop or PC.
- What cars can I drive?
- A GT race car, a Formula single-seater, a racing kart and a small hatchback. Each handles differently and keeps its own best lap on every circuit.
- Are lap times saved?
- Every circuit has its own leaderboard of fastest laps, and signed-in players can save their favourite tracks to race again on any device.
