About Apex Drawn
A racing game where you draw the track.
Apex Drawn started with a simple idea: everybody who has ever doodled a racetrack in the margin of a notebook has wondered what it would be like to drive it. So in Apex Drawn you draw a circuit with your mouse or finger, and a moment later you are driving it in 3D - with the hills, kerbs, barriers and scenery built around it.
It runs in your web browser, on a computer, a phone or a tablet, with nothing to download. It is free to play, and you don't need an account to start.
What you can do
- Draw and drive your own circuits, shaping the width, hills and corners, banking turns and placing scenery.
- Chase lap times on every circuit's leaderboard, in four cars that each handle differently, with sector times and a ghost of your best lap.
- Race friends online: share a four-letter code and up to eight players race together.
- Take on the daily time trial, the same circuit and car for everyone in the world each day.
- Drive real circuits - a growing library of real British race and kart tracks.
- Try rally stages and drag races, from point-to-point stages on dirt and snow to a quarter mile against the lights.
- Export your circuit as a track for BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, and drive it in a full racing simulator.
Who makes it
Apex Drawn is made independently in the United Kingdom by DCameron, trading as Apex Drawn. It is a small project, built and improved every week - much of it shaped by players' suggestions and bug reports. The leaderboards, multiplayer races and accounts run on our own servers.
How it is paid for
Apex Drawn is free to play. It is paid for by optional purchases - Apex Coins, premium Apex Pass rewards and track exports - and by advertising. Ads are only ever shown outside the driving: never over the track, and never while you are racing.
Fair play
Leaderboards only mean something if everybody drives the same car, so laps are checked before they are counted, and the Terms of Use rule out cheating. Usernames and shared circuit names are checked too, to keep the game friendly for everyone.
