About the circuit
Lydden Hill in Kent is one of the shortest circuits in Britain, and the birthplace of rallycross: the first rallycross event was run there in 1967.
Driving a lap
Lydden Hill is 1.46 km (0.90 miles) a lap in Apex Drawn, with 4 corners: 3 rights and 1 left.
Turn 1 is a medium-speed right-hander.
The tightest corner is Turn 3, a right-hand hairpin: brake in a straight line before it, and get the car turned early so you can be back on the throttle as soon as possible.
The longest straight runs from Turn 4 to Turn 1, so the exit of Turn 4 matters more than its entry: a good exit carries all the way down it.
It is a hilly lap, with crests and dips that change where you can brake and how much grip the car has over the top of a rise.

Coming soon
Lydden Hill is in the Club Classics pack, which isn't on sale yet. You can see it in Play → Real circuits in the game, and race the free circuits there today.
Each car keeps its own best lap on every circuit, so Lydden Hill has a separate leaderboard for the GT, the Formula car, the kart and the hatchback. Start in the GT, which forgives a mistake; the Formula car is quicker everywhere but punishes a missed apex.
Signed in, you can also export it as a track for BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, with its hills, kerbs and barriers.
