About the circuit
Mallory Park in Leicestershire is built round a lake, and best known for Gerards, a long, constant-radius right-hander that seems to go on for ever.
Driving a lap
Mallory Park Oval is 1.55 km (0.96 miles) a lap in Apex Drawn, with 2 corners: 2 rights and 0 lefts.
Turn 1 is a fast right-hander.
The tightest corner is Turn 2, a right-hand medium-speed corner: brake in a straight line before it, and get the car turned early so you can be back on the throttle as soon as possible.
One corner is fast enough to take with little or no braking (Turn 1): commit to them and they are where a lap time is found.
The longest straight runs from Turn 2 to Turn 1, so the exit of Turn 2 matters more than its entry: a good exit carries all the way down it.
The lap rises and falls gently - enough to feel the car go light over the crests.

Coming soon
Mallory Park Oval is in the Club Classics pack, which isn't on sale yet. You can see it in Play → Real circuits in the game, and race the free circuits there today.
Each car keeps its own best lap on every circuit, so Mallory Park Oval has a separate leaderboard for the GT, the Formula car, the kart and the hatchback. Start in the GT, which forgives a mistake; the Formula car is quicker everywhere but punishes a missed apex.
Signed in, you can also export it as a track for BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, with its hills, kerbs and barriers.
