About the circuit
Donington Park in Leicestershire held Grands Prix in the 1930s, and Formula One came back in 1993 for the European Grand Prix. The Craner Curves, sweeping downhill from the start, are among the fastest and most respected corners in the country.
Driving a lap
Donington GP is 3.98 km (2.48 miles) a lap in Apex Drawn, with 8 corners: 6 rights and 2 lefts. That makes it a lap heavier on the right-handers - one side of your tyres does most of the work.
Turn 1 is a slow right-hander - a heavy braking zone, and on the first lap the place most races are won and lost.
The tightest corner is Turn 7, a right-hand hairpin: brake in a straight line before it, and get the car turned early so you can be back on the throttle as soon as possible.
The longest straight runs from Turn 4 to Turn 5, so the exit of Turn 4 matters more than its entry: a good exit carries all the way down it.
It is a hilly lap, with crests and dips that change where you can brake and how much grip the car has over the top of a rise.

Coming soon
Donington GP is in the Grand Prix Circuits pack, which isn't on sale yet. You can see it in Play → Real circuits in the game, and race the free circuits there today.
Each car keeps its own best lap on every circuit, so Donington GP has a separate leaderboard for the GT, the Formula car, the kart and the hatchback. Start in the GT, which forgives a mistake; the Formula car is quicker everywhere but punishes a missed apex.
Signed in, you can also export it as a track for BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, with its hills, kerbs and barriers.
