About the circuit
Buckmore Park is a kart circuit in Kent, set in woodland near Chatham, where many British racing drivers started out.
Driving a lap
Buckmore Park 1 is 0.84 km (0.52 miles) a lap in Apex Drawn, with 11 corners: 6 rights and 5 lefts.
Turn 1 is a hairpin right-hander - a heavy braking zone, and on the first lap the place most races are won and lost.
The tightest corner is Turn 6, a right-hand hairpin: brake in a straight line before it, and get the car turned early so you can be back on the throttle as soon as possible.
The lap rises and falls gently - enough to feel the car go light over the crests.
Race it
Free to race
Buckmore Park 1 is one of the free real circuits: open Apex Drawn, go to Play → Real circuits and pick it - no account needed.
Each car keeps its own best lap on every circuit, so Buckmore Park 1 has a separate leaderboard for the kart. The kart is the car it was built for: no top speed, huge grip, and every corner taken flat or nearly.
Signed in, you can also export it as a track for BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa, with its hills, kerbs and barriers.
